A note from our Principal

April 1, 2026

Dear Families,

It has been an amazing year so far of getting to know your children, our amazing team, and so many of you. Thank you for sharing your families with us!

We have so much to look forward to for the end of the school year. Our 3rd - 6th graders will have a check point on their road to growth through ISAT testing this month. Please help them to get a good night's sleep and remember that the test is an opportunity to learn more about yourself. Encourage your kids to take an inquiry stance, and ask "What felt really good?" "What could I learn more about?"

Our 5th and 6th grade track team is already going strong, they will compete in three meets over the next few weeks and then move on to regionals, districts, and the city championship.

Finally, if you want to send appreciation to a Taft staff member consider sending them a tribute here. We use these to recognize staff every week!

Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions, celebrations, or concerns.

Sincerely,

Amy Collinge
Principal & Lead Learner
